Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment. Your expertise in operating cranes safely and efficiently will be crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of construction and industrial projects.
Duties:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment
- Safely maneuver loads using hand signals or radio communication with ground crew
- Inspect and maintain crane equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, and replacing worn parts
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating the crane
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute lifting operations
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust crane operations accordingly
- Complete required paperwork and documentation related to crane operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator or similar role
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Proficiency in operating various types of cranes, such as forklifts, backhoes, boom trucks, and other heavy equipment
- Ability to interpret load charts and calculate load capacities
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and lift heavy loads
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
